This website, found under the www.damsonandslate.co.uk URL, is operated by Damson & Slate and references to 'we' 'us' and 'our' shall be deemed to be references to Damson & Slate. References to 'you' and 'your' shall be deemed to be references to persons placing an order via this website.

Damson & Slate is a small, privately owned business and its aim is to supply unique, bespoke and different products all made, designed or found in Wales.

At the time of the website launch all product lines featured on our website are available as one off items, as limited runs, available to order and as regular stock. The nature and beauty of our business does mean that we are unable to guarantee that all our lines will be repeated or continued in the future.
All prices are correct, inclusive of VAT at the current rate. We reserve the right to increase prices

Every effort has been made to ensure descriptions, photographic reproductions and specifications of products are correct.

Due to the hand finished nature of most of our goods slight variations may occur between actual items and those featured on the website - uniformity cannot be guaranteed due to the handcrafted nature of our products.

We reserve the right to alter specifications of products without prior notice



PLACING AN ORDER


By placing an order with Damson & Slate you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to the terms and conditions. If you are unhappy with any aspect of these terms, then you should contact one of our team before placing an order with us, either by telephone on 07960753633 or by email at info@damsonandslate.co.uk or by post using the address given below.

By placing an order via this website you are making an offer to Damson & Slate to purchase the goods detailed in your order upon the terms described in your order. Once you have placed an order we will send you a confirmation that your order has been received but this is not a confirmation that your offered purchase of goods has been accepted. A contract between you and Damson & Slate for the sale of our products will only exist once an order has been accepted, processed and dispatched to you.

Prices and availability of goods are subject to change without notice.



YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL


You may normally cancel your order for any reason up to the point of dispatch unless we are making the item to order for your order alone. If you do cancel the contract within this time any payments made by you will be refunded within 14 days.



PAYMENT & TAXES


We accept online payment in a secure environment. We currently accept Paypal, VISA, MASTERCARD and SOLO. All transactions are shown in pounds sterling (£).

All prices quoted on this website are accurate at the time of publication and are quoted in pounds sterling (£) and where appropriate are inclusive of UK sales tax and VAT. The current rate of VAT is 20%.

The nature and beauty of our business does mean that we are unable to guarantee that all our lines will be repeated or continued in the future. Every item is handmade and will have subtle differences so make your purchase knowing that no two products can always be exactly the same. Due to the hand finished nature of most of our goods slight variations may occur between actual items and those featured on the website - uniformity cannot be guaranteed due to the handcrafted nature of our products.



RETURNS


We understand that no matter how fabulous an item is it may not be quite what you expected or wanted and we understand that. Please let us know by email or by phone within 28 days of receipt. As the items in Damson & Slate are often unique or supply limited please let us know as soon as possible. If you are returning an item for whatever reason we can let someone else know it is available.

In the event of goods being damaged on receipt, they should be returned for our inspection immediately. Under no circumstances must goods be used when damaged, as you will be deemed to have accepted them in their damaged condition. Before replacement goods or refunds can be issued, goods must be returned for our inspection and if necessary the goods may have to be returned to the maker for testing/investigation.

Postage and packaging fees will be reimbursed for justified damaged claims.

If you are not happy with your Damson & Slate goods please notify us within 28 days and return them to us within 30 days. We will be happy to make an exchange or refund, providing the goods are returned in perfect condition and in their original packaging.

You will receive a receipt and a separate delivery and returns form with your goods. Please complete all the details on the returns form for each item you are returning including the reason for your return. Please give as many comments as you can. This feedback is very useful.

We strongly recommend you obtain a free 'Certificate of Posting' from the post office as we will not accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit. For peace of mind you might want to send the goods Recorded Delivery but we regret we cannot refund this charge. Delivery and shipping costs will only be refunded on damaged goods.

* If exchanging goods and the new item you require costs less than the one you have returned we will refund you the difference.

 * If exchanging goods and the new item you require costs more than the one you returned an additional payment is needed.

* Replacement items will be sent to you free of P&P charges.

We collect only the basic personal details required to process your order. We will not release your name, address, email address or any other information to any outside party. We will not trade, sell, resell or redistribute information that you provide to us, to any other companies, organisations or individuals.
 
Our policy is to keep the personal information we receive completely confidential and solely for internal purposes.

From time to time, if you have elected to receive newsletters, we would like to send emails to customers with updates such as special offers or new products.
